About Us
Hi, we’re James and Morgan
We run Fereday. a small, independent studio based in Bournemouth.
Morgan designs and makes our garments by hand in the studio, while James looks after the brand, content, and collaborations. Fereday is built around a shared love of workwear, repair, and clothes that are meant to be worn, mended, and lived in.
Thanks for being here and for supporting slow, independent making.
Fereday is a slow fashion studio based in Bournemouth, founded by designer-maker Morgan Fereday and creative director James Wilson. Working with vintage, reclaimed, and surplus materials, Fereday creates one-of-a-kind garments, reworked workwear, and functional accessories designed to be worn, repaired, and lived in.
Inspired by workwear, studio culture, and the creative communities found in surf and skate spaces, Fereday operates as more than a clothing brand. The studio hosts visible mending and sashiko workshops, produces small-batch originals, and documents the making process through film and photography.
At its core, Fereday believes repair is a form of resistance a practical response to overconsumption and throwaway culture and that clothing should carry stories, not seasons.
