Reclaimed Climbing Rope Belt

This belt is made from retired climbing rope, reclaimed from UK climbing centres and given a second life as a durable, everyday accessory.

Two lengths of rope are stripped of their inner cores, flattened, and hand sewn together with a zig-zag stitch for strength and flexibility. Finished with premium steel D-ring hardware and solid rivets, the result is a belt that’s comfortable to wear, hard-wearing, and full of character.

Every belt carries subtle variations in colour, weave, and markings from its previous life — no two are the same.

The rope is not reused for climbing or load-bearing use. It is repurposed solely as an everyday belt.

Why reclaimed rope?

Climbing ropes are retired long before the material itself is worn out. Reclaiming them keeps high-quality material in use for longer and gives each piece a story worth carrying forward.
